Frequently Asked Questions

How long do you play for?

Usually anything up to 3 hours with breaks.  I will entertain your guests until the meal is announced, provided you stipulate the timing in advance.

 

What equipment do you need?

Everything that I need I take with me, which means you don't need to provide anything for me.  I use a small PA and an acoustic guitar, which means my footprint is extremely compact, allowing me to fit into 99% of venues, no matter how small.

 

Will you take requests?

Absolutely! I'm happy to add some of your suggestions and even on the day, I'm happy to try some songs if your guests don't mind me giving it a go for them!

 

Do you travel?

Yes, anywhere.  I try to minimise the impact of travel costs for you and the price I quote is always the price including any travel costs.  There's nothing worse than getting a quote and then realising that there are several other charges that need covered too!  I am happy to play weddings internationally too, though I do require travel and accommodation included for those.

 

How long does it take to setup?

I am usually set up within 15 minutes, depending on access to the area that I'm singing in.

 

How do I book?

When you message me, make sure to include the date of the event, the venue and location and your email address. If you are happy to proceed once I've sent you a quote, I will require 15% of the total fee as an advanced booking fee. The remainder will be due, anytime up until the day before the event, though it can be paid earlier if preferred. I will also issue a written agreement via email.
